Great Opening Performances at Washington University Mini MeetPublished by
St. Louis, MO - At Bushyhead Track, the day began on a high note with junior Geoff Hibbs competing in the javelin throw. He jumped from a personal best of 51.13 to 58.14 meters in a matter of minutes. He fouled on one throw which went even further. Currently, Hibbs is ranked fifth amongst all Division III male javelin throwers at the end of this week, and is only half of a meter from breaking the school record. Later in the day, he competed in the long jump to work on developing more of his ability as a multi-event athlete. Read the full article at: www.principiaathletics.com
