Elsah, ILL. -- The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference released their Player of the Week Awards this afternoon and junior Shane Witters-Hicks has once again been named the SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week--the third time this season!Witters-Hicks, a junior from Golden, Colo., is this week's SLIAC Men's Cross Country Player of the Week. Witters-Hicks captured a second place finish in the Illinois College meet this past weekend, competing in a field of 65 runners. Witters-Hicks completed the 8K course in a time of 26:44, making a move on the back half of the course; jumping up from 25th place. This marks the third time this season Witters-Hicks has won the conference weekly award.
