ELSAH, ILL. - Lyssa Winslow and Conrad Bollinger are the duo qualified and declared to compete at this year's NCAA D3 Indoor Track and Field National Championships. Lyssa, a political science and mass communication double major enters her first national championships ranked fifth in the nation among women shot putters after hurling a massive 14.36-meter huck at an early meet in February. She has trained hard this past winter. Conrad, a business administration major comes into this championships prepared after tying for fourth place at last year's indoor championships. He has extended his run and looks to better his personal best which he reset last year at a meet last year in December. Head coach Wilcoxen comments, "I think we would agree that these athletes have done their work, and it's really satisfying to see them reach Nationals. Conrad knows what to expect, and this should be a real adventure for Lyssa. I can't wait to see what they do."
