Cross Country braves freezing temps and snow at NCAA RegionalsPublished by
On Saturday November 10th, the cross country teams competed in the NCAA regional championships at the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, WI. It was the coldest temperatures most had ever experienced in a race with the women starting at 21 degrees and the men at 23 degrees. The coaches had some idea it was going to be a new experience for most of the team when they woke up Friday to a couple inches of snow. The team left on Thursday in order to make it to Colfax in time for a pre-race course inspection that was cold, windy, and snowing. Although the wind died down for the race, the cold and snow made it difficult for anyone to set personal records (PR's). Read the full article at: principiaathletics.com
