November 18th, 2017 was the culmination of many years of preparation and anticipation. Principia College hosted the 2017 NCAA DIII Cross Country National Championship, after earning the bid back in 2013. Not only did Principia have the privilege of being the hosting institution but the entire Principia community rallied behind the three senior national qualifiers, Zach Matthiesen, Shane Witters Hicks, and Nate Richards.
