ST. LOUIS, MO. -- Exciting things happened over at the SLU Medical Track Center, in the men's 1500-meter run, Zach Matthiesen had a strong race with a competitior in his heat. He started off strong as has been his style in most races. This time he maintained his lead all of the way through the finish surging ahead in the final 150 meters and pulling away from his nearest competitor. Matthiesen finished in 4:10.03.
