ROCK ISLAND, ILL. -- This Friday, September 26, 2014 Principia Cross Country traveled North to Rock Island, IL to compete in the Augustana Brissman/Lundeen Invitational. The women started the invitational off late in the day at 5:00 pm, racing a 6k. Sarah Litwiller, senior, finished first for Principia women in 23.31.5, finishing 43rd place for the team scores. Next up were Shontee Pant, junior, who finished in 25:47.9, placing 153rd, and Kyla Pelletier, also a junior, who finished in 25:54.5, placing 162nd. Hayley Scheck, sophomore and Ariana Dale, junior, finished strong together. Hayley ran a 28:16.7, placing 211th and Ariana ran a 28:19.5, finishing 212nd. Lucy Webber, senior finished next in our line up in 29:28.8, in 222nd place. And Brie Burns, Freshmen was our seventh finisher with a time of 31:10.1, placing 231st.
