Comments

Terre Haute, Ind. -  In a cold, but strong tailwind, Molly Dixon ran the first event of the day for the women's track and field team bursting out of the blocks and crossing the finish line in a new personal record of 26.79. She also ran in the 100-meter dash cruising to 13.18 seconds. Her only mark in the javelin throw was 69 feet, 2 inches. Dixon now currently stands at second on the all-time top ten list in the women's 200-meter dash. Teammate Lyssa Winslow had a difficult time in the throws, but managed to garner some points for the women's track and field team placing third in the discus throw (112 feet, 11 inches), fourth in the hammer throw (129 feet, 8 inches) and third in the shot put (34 feet, 2 inches).
