Principia Track and Field competes well at Rose HulmanPublished by
TERRE HAUTE, IN. -- Principia Track and Field took a smaller squad to Terre Haute, IN, Friday night to compete at the Rose-Hulman Twilight meet. There were several outstanding performances. Thrower Lyssa Winslow had another solid meet, placing third in the shot put, second in the discus, and second in the hammer throw. Emily Osborne won the 3000m steeplechase with a personal best of 12:05.57. Sophomore Kyla Pelletier moved onto Prin's All-Time Top Ten list in the 3000m run, finishing in 11:31.60. For the men, highlights include Adam Rolph's win in the 800m run. His 1:54.02 won the meet, and set a new stadium record. It was also a personal best, and moves him into the top 50 in the nation. Freshmen Shane Witters-Hicks and Nate Richards ran big PRs in the 3000m run, finishing in 9:09.03 and 9:10.44, respectively. Read the full article at: www.principiaathletics.com
